This short survey called the IT Effectiveness Index (ITEI) provides business owners and IT executives at small and medium size businesses with a FREE on-line benchmarking tool. This tool helps you compare the effectiveness of your IT systems with companies in your industry and peer group.

After taking the survey, you will immediately receive a grade from A through F, along with a brief description of what your grade means, based on your responses to the survey questions.

Within a day or so of taking the survey you will also receive an email with details and suggestions for improving your IT Effectiveness grade, so please make sure your email address is correct.

One lucky participant each month in December 2009 and January 2010 will be selected from among those who fully complete this survey to receive a free Dell Netbook computer. Winners will be chosen in a random drawing of all participants and notified by email, as well as announced on the IT Effectiveness Index website. One winner will be selected each month in December 2009 and one in January 2010.

Those who complete the survey will also be offered a free copy of our Small and Medium-sized Business (SMB) IT Effectiveness Index Report, scheduled for publication in early 2010.
